Last month, we saw significant turbulence and unexpected price developments on the precious metals exchange. Platinum increased its value, palladium, after reaching historic levels, fell on January prices and the government drastically lost its strong position.

What were the diagrams of quotes of valuable elements in catalysts in the last week? We invite you to a short summary of the offers of the last days.

Platinum surprised us again with a rise earlier this week. On Monday, April 8, the price of an ounce reached $ 920.15, which nobody expected. Just as quickly, its value dropped to the $ 896.50 / ounce we’re used to. Despite rising to $ 907 / ounce the following day, the change was generally -0.91% weekly and $ 895 / ounce on April 12. This is probably the end of the good platinum run that started in late March. From Thursday, March 28 to April 8, palladium rose less than $ 67 / ounce. We noticed the last big increase in the second half of February.

For palladium, we recorded growth until April 9th. Even on Friday, an ounce of this item was worth $ 1295.50. After the weekend, it rose to US $ 1 355 / oz and on Tuesday by a further US $ 17 / oz. Unfortunately, the successful winds in this metal ended here. The next day, the price of the ounce fell slightly and on Thursday, the value fell to USD 21.

Rod continues his downward trend. On April 5, an ounce of the family cost $ 2,785. This value was maintained until April 8, after which it fell to $ 2,600 an ounce over the next two days, which we observed until April 12.

The gold card resembled the shape of a reversed parabola. The price for an ounce rose until the 10th of April. Then it reached the maximum weekly value – 1 314,55 USD / ounce. Unfortunately, that day began to lose value again, and on Thursday, the following day, the chart was priced at $ 1 295.80 / ounce.

The silver rate was similar. Again, Thursday saw a significant decline – from USD 15.20 to USD 14.92 / ounce.
